Hello,
I am having the hardest time trying to find out this question. How often should information be collected when working with a client?
I have read all about the initial assessment and some of the chapters say once a month, other parts say only at the initial assessment, and another says every time a trainer meets with them. I have read and re-read unit 12, and I am stumped. Any help would be fantastic!
Thank you.
Hey Leslie, I will look into this one for the exact answer, as per ISSA.
Good evening Tyler,
I am currently taking ISSA courses and passed 2 of 3 that I signed up for. Currently, I have been through a change in schedule due to covid, and was not granted an email extension in time when I asked as for one due to … well many reasons. Now I sit without lights or power to complete my course for Transformation specialist certification because of a hurricane hitting Bermuda. I really think that to do the course correctly I should have been given more time. A year for all 3 seems ok when you start but then reality (covid, hospitalization of a family member, Mother Nature, etc) can run amuck and put a thorn in ones plans. Just a thought that sometimes clients have to be handled like you would in the drawing in phase. Venting as soon I will not have a phone with power
Thanks,
Robin
I’m sorry to hear about your tough situation. This whole covid-19 is ruining a lot of people’s plans. I would definitely reach out to ISSA explain your situation and I would bet that they will grant you an extension. Keep up the good studying and good luck on your future personal trainer career.
