Accountability will get you to the gym!

For most people, the hardest part about getting to the gym is merely putting on their shoes getting their car! Other people rely on a gym partner to hold themselves accountable for showing up.

The problem is that most people do not have the gym partner. One of the most significant reasons to get a personal trainer is that they will hold you accountable to show up at the gym every single time you meet with them.

And if you do not show up, guarantee you will get a lecture from them! But I promise you that once you finally step into the gym to meet with your trainer, you will be happy that you came!

Even if you are in a horrible mood, your personal trainer will bring you right back up! That’s just what personal trainers do!

Your motivation will go through the roof!

The second thing I can promise you that your motivation will be higher than it’s ever been before! This is one of the hardest traits to have in most areas of people’s lives, and when it comes to exercise very few people have it.

Things completely turn around once you have a personal trainer. Personal trainers are incredibly motivating because they point out how much progress you are making even if you cannot see it yourself.

These words of encouragement push you farther and farther into the good habit of exercising on a regular basis and eating healthy. Simple phrases such as ”I believe in you” can be very encouraging when coming from your personal trainer.

In most cases your personal trainer will also point you to excellent resources online or in magazines I will add additional motivation!

They will progress you through a routine in a systematic way!

Without a personal trainer, one of the hardest things to do is create your own progressive systematic exercise routine. Most people that I see in the gym do not have any structure to their workouts.

Most of the time they’re wandering around from one machine to another aimlessly. This is one of the biggest reasons that you would hire a personal trainer.

They are experts at developing routines that are personalized to your needs and goals. Personal trainers are experts at finding the perfect exercises for your fitness level and being able to progress you at the right pace to more strenuous workouts and exercises.

Even if you do not have the money to hire a personal trainer full-time, you will at least get a very structured routine that you can start doing on your own!

The job of the personal trainers to get you comfortable enough with exercises so that you can come in on your own and work on them.

Your results will be quantitatively tracked!

Within the first few months or so after beginning in an exercise program it can be difficult to detect any changes in your body by just looking in the mirror.

That is why it is imperative to track measurements that are quantitative. Examples of These Measurements Are Circumference Measurements with a Measuring Tape, Body Fat Percentage, and Weight.

With a Personal Trainer, You Can Guarantee All of These Will Be Taken on a Biweekly Basis at the Minimum. These Measurements Are Also Extremely Motivating.

Even if you cannot see the progress in the mirror, your personal trainer will ensure that you are making significant progress by measurements and body fat readings.

It is very empowering to see that you have lost 1% body fat, one inch around your waist or stomach, or have gotten stronger by 20 pounds on your squat!

Seeing these numbers especially when charted out will keep you on the right track regarding diet and exercise!

This is one of the most significant advantages of personal training!

You will have a new perspective on wellness overall!

By hiring a personal trainer, you will get some great insights into all areas of wellness! You will learn tons about diet and nutrition as well as mental factors that can stop you or propel you to success.

Your personal trainer will be able to switch up exercises and routines for you frequently to keep your body guessing so that it can adapt even more. I guarantee that your personal trainer will have a massive list of different healthy recipes that you can try out at home.

Not only will you get help from a physical standpoint but also mentally and emotionally!

This is very true stuff and is one of the reasons why personal trainers are so effective.

I’ve tried to start working out several times, but I always run out of motivation because it seems like I’m not making any progress.
